A local training was held in Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, Republic of Uzbekistan on January 13, 2025. This local training was dedicated to promoting the topics discussed at the meeting held at the University of Evora from November 18 to 22. The aim of the training was to disseminate the key insights and strategies presented during the meeting in Évora. In this regard, the training organized was held in the following courses: Thermal Energy Storage Systems, Photovoltaic and Electrical Storage Systems, Solar Thermal Technologies, Solar Radiation: measurement and data, Water Production and Treatment, Energy storage methods and devices, Design of new technical developments based on alternative energy, Mechanical and thermodynamic aspects of large-scale energy storage. The local training served as a platform for faculty members, researchers, and students to deepen their understanding of renewable energy technologies and sustainable energy systems. By aligning the training content with the discussions held in Évora, participants were able to explore practical applications and innovative solutions tailored to local conditions in Uzbekistan. This initiative not only reinforced academic collaboration but also contributed to capacity building in the field of alternative energy, paving the way for future joint projects and enhanced educational programs within the region.
