To build on the discussions held at Polito, Italy, from May 19 to 24, 2024, a local training session took place at Fergana Polytechnic Institute in June 4, 2024 in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The training was aimed at disseminating the key insights and strategies presented during the Polito meeting. Local training included the following topics, Solar power systems based on PV, Solar power systems based on CSP, Energy storage methods and devices, Technological measurements and instruments of the industry, Solar thermal devices and systems. Participants were introduced to solar thermal devices and systems, such as solar water heaters. The training covered their applications and integration into existing infrastructures, showcasing their effectiveness in various settings.
