A local training was held at Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute (JizPI), Uzbekistan, on August 26, 2025, within the framework of the Erasmus+ DEBSEUz project.
The training brought together 46 participants and aimed to share knowledge and experience gained during advanced training activities at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), Spain, while strengthening professional competencies and promoting renewable energy education in Uzbekistan. The event involved representatives from Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, and Jizzakh Regional Electric Networks Enterprise.
The sessions covered three key topics:

Development of the Targeted Educational Program for Bachelors in Solar Energy in Uzbekistan.

Energy Systems Based on Renewable Energy Sources.

Photovoltaic Power Plants.
The training facilitated knowledge exchange, strengthened cooperation between educational institutions and energy sector stakeholders, and supported the development of modern solar energy education and practical skills in Uzbekistan.
