DEBSEUz Professional Training Course Held at Fergana State Technical University.

📌 From 23 to 27 March 2026, Fergana State Technical University hosted a five-day Professional Training Course within the framework of the Erasmus+ CBHE project DEBSEUz – “Development of the targeted Educational program for Bachelors in Solar Energy in Uzbekistan”. The event was organised as part of T2.7 – Pilot launch of training and co-working centers.

🏛 The training course aimed to strengthen participants’ theoretical knowledge and practical skills in renewable energy technologies and to support the transfer of international experience and best practices into the educational and professional environment of Uzbekistan. The event also provided a platform for cooperation between higher education institutions, industry representatives, specialists and other stakeholders in the renewable energy sector.
During the five-day programme, participants attended lectures, practical sessions and laboratory activities covering solar thermal devices and systems, optical and physical properties of semiconductor materials, generation, transmission and distribution of electricity, Smart Grid technologies, design of renewable energy devices and power plants, and energy storage systems.

🔷 Representatives of Fergana State Technical University, Fergana Regional Electric Networks Enterprise, “FNQIZ” LLC and “FARG‘ONAAZOT” JSC participated in the training course, contributing to stronger cooperation between higher education and industry.
The training contributed to capacity building, the development of professional and research skills, and the dissemination of modern knowledge in renewable energy. It also supported the broader objectives of the DEBSEUz project in preparing highly qualified specialists capable of contributing to Uzbekistan’s sustainable and green energy development.
