A local training on “Problems and solutions for integrating solar energy into the energy supply of industrial enterprises” was held at Fergana State Technical University, Republic of Uzbekistan, from April 7 to 11, 2025. The training brought together university researchers, industry specialists, and energy engineers to explore practical approaches to increasing the use of renewable energy in industrial settings. Key topics included the technical challenges of solar energy integration, economic feasibility studies, and policy support mechanisms. Participants analyzed case studies of successful solar energy implementations, discussed local infrastructure capabilities, and proposed context-specific strategies to improve energy efficiency and sustainability. The training also emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration and capacity building in achieving long-term energy transition goals.
