
Local trainings for Uzbek partners are on the way
A local training was held in Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan on January 13-14, 2025. This local training was dedicated to promoting the topics discussed at the meeting held at the University of Evora from November 18 to 22. The objective of the training was to convey the main ideas and strategic approaches discussed during the meeting in Évora. In this context, the training sessions were organized around several key subjects: Thermal Energy Storage Systems, Photovoltaic and Electrical Storage Systems, Solar Thermal Technologies, Solar Radiation Measurement and Data Analysis, Water Production and Treatment, Energy Storage Devices and Methods, Development of New Technical Solutions Based on Alternative Energy, and Mechanical and Thermodynamic Considerations in Large-Scale Energy Storage. This event served as a valuable platform for academic staff, researchers, and students to broaden their expertise in renewable energy and sustainability. By integrating the insights from the Évora meeting into the local setting, the training encouraged the application of innovative ideas suited to Uzbekistan’s needs. Moreover, it promoted academic exchange and contributed to building regional capacity in alternative energy, supporting the development of future collaborative research and educational programs
