On 6 January 2025, a local training was held at the Fergana Polytechnic Institute of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This local training was dedicated to promoting the topics discussed at the meeting held at the University of Évora from 18 to 22 November. The aim of the training was to disseminate the main ideas and strategies presented at the meeting in Évora. During the session, academic and administrative staff were introduced to innovative teaching methodologies, digitalization strategies and quality assurance mechanisms in line with European standards in higher education. The event aimed to strengthen organizational capacity through the exchange of best practices and stimulating the adaptation of modern pedagogical tools. Participants took part in interactive discussions, case studies and presentations aimed at contextualizing the outcomes of the Évora meeting within the framework of local educational needs. Overall, the training served as a platform for knowledge transfer, strengthening international cooperation and supporting the continuous development of higher education in Uzbekistan.
