
Local trainings for Uzbek partners are on the way
Local training held in Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers Republic of Uzbekistan from 19th to 21st of September, 2024. The training was organized to share the key insights and strategies discussed during the meeting held at Polito, Italy, from May 19 to 24, 2024. It’s main goal was to promote and disseminate the topics presented during the Polito meeting. The meeting covered a range of topics, including project coordination and management, data collection and staff training, the establishment of laboratories and centers, project promotion, and various other related issues. The Debseuz project, in particular, aims to develop a new bachelor's degree program and courses focused on solar energy. Additionally, to strengthen collaboration with institutional and industrial stakeholders, the project seeks to establish laboratories and co-working spaces. These initiatives are intended to equip students with the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills to meet the growing demands of the renewable energy sector. By creating modern laboratories and collaborative spaces, the project will provide an environment where students, researchers, and industry partners can work together on innovative solutions in the field of solar energy. Furthermore, the collaboration with external stakeholders is expected to strengthen the link between academic training and real-world industry needs, ensuring that graduates are well-prepared for future employment opportunities. Overall, the Debseuz project represents a significant step toward advancing education, research, and innovation in the field of sustainable energy within the region.
